The original "Little Big Planet" was a simple platform game (like mario bros). But the catch was you can create your own levels, and put them online on your own personal "litle big planet" The fun part is that everyone else online can play on your planet and vice versa! The result is 2 MILLION user created levels available to play on with friends, family, and...everyone.
This trailer however shows part 2. And the big deal is that you not only create and share levels now. But you now create your own Games! The possibilities seem almost infinite!
I posted it bc I thought it was pretty trippy to watch.
yeah, i like the video. I'm guessing it's not very complicated to make all these levels and games...i would have thought it was some complicated matrix-like binary system consisting to punching in endless 1's and 0's to make a line appear on the screen...but that's pretty much what i think most technology is. :)
I played the first one at a friends house, I would like to play it to see what else I can make the puppet do besides make silly faces...which is what they did over there for like 2 hours...This game looks crazy though :)
I don't know what i just saw.
ReplyDeleteI liked it.
I just don't understand it. :)
It was like the future on crack for two minutes. Guessing this is a big deal, looking forward to understanding it.
